Susan Ople on Employment
Before anything else, I would like to greet everyone a happy new year. Hoping that this new decade, 2010, brings more fulfillment into our life and we’d be able to make a better positive impact to friends, families, co-workers and to all the people around us.
Susan “Toots” Ople is the youngest daughter of the late Senator Blas Ople. Though her father already passed away, the virtue of humbleness and servanthood has been passed to his family especially to her who continued her father’s commitment of helping OFWs.
Recently, Susan Ople was convinced to run as senator under the banner of Senator Manny Villar’s Nacionalista Party. Hoping to win a seat in the magic 12 though like Sonia Roco, was trailing behind as shown by the recent surveys by Pulse Asia and SWS.
Before the end of last year, I was invited to attend a meeting with well known bloggers and Susan as the invited guest. I got the chance to hear some of her motives, ideologogies and desires of running as senator.
