I was both pleased and devastated when we encountered some Bro. Eddie supporters during the G1bo motorcade last week, there were a good number of youth who were vehemently shouting that they were not being paid to support Bro. Eddie and they did it in such a tone that they were accusing us of being paid to bring our own cars, spend for our own gas and travel for a good three to four hours in support for our presidential bet. Some even went so far as to hit our cars with their fists and try to grab things through our open windows. If it wasn’t for a few other Bro. Eddie supporters who were walking peacefully and greeting us with “God bless you’s” and “Kay Bro. Eddie nalang po kayo”, I would have felt disappointed that Bro. Eddie failed to discipline his supporters. I hope his more radical supporters would reflect on their actions and think about what image they’re presenting of their candidate because of their actions. I believe Bro. Eddie has his own noble reasons for running and he doesn’t deserve the bad PR from a few hundred irresponsible supporters.
